Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton - ‘Emaciated’ is the New ‘Skinny’!
The Superficial has a post showing Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton lying on a beach starving to death. I hope someone ran to their aid with a cheeseburger instead of simply taking photos of the grisly scene. No news yet as to if they survived the incident.
Emaciated:
Etymology: Latin emaciatus
intransitive senses : to waste away physically
Seriously, I feel bad for younger girls that have these women being thrust upon them by the media as subconcious ‘role models’. They are in no way healthy.

Super Mario World Theme
I was listening to some songs on the The Video Game Pianist’s site and his MP3 of the Super Mario World really makes you appreciate what the music composers on the game team put into it. You didn’t see that in a lot of games then - now it’s getting more prevalent.

al-Zarqawi Celebrations
Break out the champagne and cigars - US forces finally ‘terminated’ Abu Musab al-Zarqawi yesterday in Iraq with a couple of bombs dropped from Planes - News channels anchors are smiling - it’s time to Celebrate.. Or is it?
“Those who disrupt the course of life, like al-Zarqawi, will have a tragic end … whenever there is a new al-Zarqawi, we will kill him.”
- Prime Minister of Iraq Nouri al-Maliki
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi appears to have been a extreme fanatic and certainly an evil man. But let us all not get too caught up in our media fueled celebrations - after all, more people died today in a war that has killed tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of people. And with official statements being issued like above, we’re certainly no closer to peace.
Don’t get me wrong - it appears that negotiations with fanatics generally don’t work - but let’s not put forth absolute extermination as the only road to ‘peace’ - because that is absolutely a mirror image of what these fanatics are professing. And aren’t we supposed to be the good guys? And how is it peace when you’ve simply wiped out your enemies?
And shame on all of us for not standing up and saying ‘this is wrong’. Because it is.

Marlon Brando, Pocahontas and Me
Behold the hunk of bacon from which I have carved several slices to make breakfast sandwiches this morning. It is both a thing of beauty, flavour, and horrible disgust.
Just finished up a latte/breakfast Biscuit and had a short flick-through re-watch of “Jesus is Magic”, Sarah Silverman’s stand-up comedy movie/documentary. It was reccomended to me by Shane and he was absolutely right - twisted and dry enough to make me laugh.
Breakfast biscuit? Damn right- a few ‘rashers’ of bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and one egg per biscuit make it a tasty treat.
Another nice day today - off to EL BURRITO LOCO tonight with E and N. I can’t wait.
