Politics, George Bush, Allison Barber, and my Utter Annoyance
I with the liberals in the states would stop whining. It’s making it very hard for me to support their side.
They’ll keep nattering on this George Bush Videoconference thing for ages now. It’s what they do. Pick a weak point and CONSTANTLY hammer at it publically.
Well it’s completely turned me off. I’m socially liberal, no secret, but I get sick of the whining and complaining. It’s not even sensible any more.
Of COURSE the soldiers got prepped before his entrance. How many of those do you think the guests wouldn’t be prepped. I never heard Allison Barber once tell the soldiers how to respond. Simply go through who was being asked what etc. You don’t want them to mix up and stutter and stammer do you? And if they DID, the next morning, the headline woudl be:
‘BUSH CRONIES PUT ON POORLY PREPARED PRESS CONFERENCE’
I’m totally sick of it. I love politics but it’s far beyond anything recognizable now.
Parties do not have platforms and fight for them, they fight against whatever the opposition does or says.
Parties do not primarily fight to get into power to help mould the country into something they believe in. They just fight to get into power.
EVEN if the Republicans did something the Democrats would do themselves, the Dems will criticize it.
As far as I’m concerned the so called ‘neo’-rights or ‘neo’-lefts are the only true ‘partisan’ groups. No, I don’t agree with EITHER of their ideals, but at least they have a solid stance on most issues.
The rest are a bunch of posturing nancies… Except me.
