Been ages since I posted. I had a draft prepped last Wednesday but I don’t feel the world is ready for the information I would impart on it…. just yet.
This hurricane craziness in the gulf looks INSANE. I’ve always said that despite some errant cold weather, we really have it good up here. The fact that New Orleans is below sea level really must put a hurting on the cleanup as well.
After conversing with my cousin Aaron about summer camp memories this weekend I have decided to impart a rather disturbing story to you, my loyal readers.
The story starts at an unnamed property on the Bellisle bay. Our hero Jacob is almost certainly under the age of 12 and he is halfway through a two week summer camp that he attends without fail every summer. He really enjoys the camp, and this year he has been placed in a cabin with 14 other pre-pubescent boys, AND an ‘at-risk’ youth we will call Tyrell Waldorf.
Tyrell has been entertaining his cabinmates all summer with his stories of drug use, coiitus, and general crime and nonsense. And of course, because everyone in the cabin was young and innocent, he was well loved by most - and his stories were met with critical acclaim by all….. Except for Richard. This is because Richard was the ‘pick-on’ kid for Tyrell.
Now my memory is sketchy about the summer (like most other summers), but I do remember this:
One night while sleeping I was awoken by Richard snoring. This wasn’t an uncommon occurence, but apparently Tyrell had enough of it that night. After stating loudly ‘watch this’, he walked over to Richard’s lower bunk, pulled down his shorts, and urinated on Richard’s face and open mouth.
Richard awoke screaming and I really don’t recall what happened next. I don’t even think Tyrell got kicked out of camp.
That must have messed up Richard for a long time, really emotionally scarred him.
This is the truth. I couldn’t make this up. Just ask Aaron.

Sadly, this story IS completely true. I was there, and saw the whole thing from my top-bunk vantage point. You just don’t forget a thing like that! It did seem pretty funny at the time, however…
During the same summer, Tyrell somehow succeeded in separating me from my bathing suit and “locking” me out of the cabin naked — much to the chagrin of the 10 year-old girls cabin who watched the whole episode. It was an emBAREASSing experience…

Can you believe that people have emailed me claiming this story is disturbing? It’s entertainment at it’s finest.
