It’s almost essential to survive in this berg that you get used to humid heat.

I cannot. We escaped to the coast for the weekend and still could not dodge that rotten bastard.

The last 4-5 days the humidex has pushed the “feels like” close to 40. 37 today. 150 days until Christmas.

Stephen Harper playing the Yellow GuitarThe Gazette has an article featuring explicit instructions on how to commit political suicide in Quebec, courtesy of Stephen Harper. It’s good to know that he’s essentially ensuring that the Conservative Party is going to find it quite hard to win an election anytime soon.

Conservatives in Canada : I have some advice for you. Ditch Harper. Ditch your moral conservative issues. Then you might actually be a credible political party again.

If you value your sleep do not attempt to install any sort of Java developer’s kit on BSD after 10pm. Sun yanked BSD’s license or something and they require this HUGE roundabout way to get it going.

Deep in the middle of the compile it starts linking stuff and you figure it’s done. Then it just goes to town again compiling more code. I’m STILL awaiting the time for this to finish.

I don’t even get to sleep late in the morning.

Fundy park tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. Got another rental car, hopefully this time it won’t be leather seats.

The Globe and Mail is reporting Transport Canada is no longer investigating Gurmant Grewal over allegations that he had given a flight’s passenger a tape to carry to Ottawa for him. One of the tapes was part of the infamous ‘vote buying’ expose that went wrong for him.

It is illegal to place a package on an airplane on which you are not travelling in Canada.

You can bet this guy is dreading the next election. Given that ONE of the tapes was that in the news lately, I wonder what else he’s been taping?
